Event Design

 

The hardest part is getting started!   Conceptualizing a cohesive and effective design is the initial, and often, most difficult part of planning.  MH Event Design and Management offers a unique service in which I provide the innovative/consultative portion of the process independently, at an affordable price point.

 

Event design services can be applied to corporate meetings, trainings and events, incentive programs for clients or employees, social events (birthday parties, anniversaries, milestone celebrations, bridal, couple, and baby showers, etc.), weddings, elopements, and non-profit.  The cost for Event Design is a flat fee of $400.

 

Inclusive with Event Design Services:

 

•  2 cohesive creative concepts for your event including theme, aesthetics, ambience, and content (if applicable)

•  Customized inspiration boards

•  A list of vendors (hotels, venues, caterers, florists, speakers, designers, artists, entertainers, rental providers, restaurants, etc) with the capabilities to      accommodate 

   your design and vision

•  Customized event checklist and timeline to drive planning and execution

 

 

 

Event Management Packages

 

Some clients have a more of an “eye for detail” than others, which is why I created my tailored vision packages.  With the variety, MH Event Design and Management provides a prescription and a price point for every event.  I love puns!

 

           

             T H E  M O N O C L E

 

 

This package is perfect for clients who have either the time or the staff to source, conduct site visits, negotiate contracts, and do the heavy lifting, but simply require expertise and back-up in pulling it all together for a polished end product.  

Inclusive with The Monocle Package:

•  Consultation on design/aesthetics/decor, etc.

•  Contract review

•  Vendor consultation

•  Regularly scheduled calls for council or instruction

•  Troubleshooting

 

 

             T H E  R E A D I N G  S P E C S

 

 

 

This package was designed for clients who prefer to own certain aspects of their events, but would rather completely delegate others.  In this scenario I work in tandem with clients to own any factions of planning and execution that may not be an individual strength, as well as offer professional advice throughout the process to create a cohesive and polished end result.  In order to conclude what I should own, a preliminary conversation will be had to allocate responsibilities and determine time requirement.  

A popular add-on to this package is Vendor Management.  I will serve as the "middle man" and handle all vendor communication including pricing research, proposal requests/edits and meeting scheduling.  This service can also be added the to The Monocle package, if so desired.

              T H E   C O K E   B O T T L E   G L A S S E S

This package is for the client who wants to sit back and have the entire process handled for him/her.  The CBG is all inclusive, from event design to onsite management.

•  Event Design

•  Unlimited email and phone access

•  Sourcing of all vendors and service providers (hotel room blocks, event space, Audio/Visual providers, creative services, food and beverage, photographers,

   entertainment/keynote speakers, rental needs, decor providers, etc.).

•  Contract negotiation

•  Arrangement and facilitation of all required meetings and appointment with vendors and service providers (tastings, site visits, etc.)

•  Logistical management throughout the entire process

•  Budgetary oversight and administration

•  Registration and/or attendee list management

•  Invitations and event communications

•  Regularly scheduled planning progress and update calls

•  Day or evening-of onsite management, troubleshooting, etc. (set-up, break-down, flow management, coordination of vendors and providers, etc.).  This also includes rehearsals and/or show run-throughs.

•  Two interim meetings, including walk-through of venue(s) prior to event

•  Final planning meeting 1 – 2 weeks prior to event day

•  Distribution of final timeline and venue information to vendors one week prior to event

•  Unlimited phone and e-mail access

•  8 hours of service on the day of the event

•  Flow Management

•  Vendor coordination

•  Point of contact for vendors, family, participants and guests

•  Facilitate design set-up

•  Distribute final payments to vendors

 

 

E L O P E M E N T S  

 

I have a soft spot for elopements and find them incredibly romantic.  I can provide full-service sourcing and planning for elopements with at least one month of advance notice, both local and abroad.

 

Package Includes:

 

•  Initial consultation

•  Event Design and DIY Inspiration

•  Final planning and walk-through meeting 1 – 2 weeks prior to wedding day
